In the Camelback corridor/Biltmore area lies a little mid-century gem we pass by frequently. The Martinique was built in 1960 and remains today with lots of the original detailing on the exterior and grounds. Without being too creepy, we paid a visit the other day to walk around and get a better perspective. We loved the main entryway right off of Camelback with what appeared to be the original gold mailboxes (if not original, then they’re just really, really old). The center courtyard and views of Camelback mountain were great too. And all of this is in such close proximity to a lot of hot spots in Phoenix.
It was fun to stop by and spend some time snapping a few photos. My Madewell wide-leg denim (similar here) and Camino Del Sol tank were a bit of unintentional odes to the past as we wandered the grounds. Wouldn’t it be fun if time travel was a thing?! We’d love to go back and explore the world as it was in the 60’s, but for now, this will do!

I just love seeing your sweet face! Miss you and pray you two are doing incredible!
