We’ve received so many sweet messages from our friends and family since we got the news that Evan will have to battle cancer once more. We’re so thankful for the outpouring of love and support, and it’s this encouragement and our faith in God that will carry us through this battle again. We are both doing well, and we want to assure everyone that might not see us on a regular basis that there is no doom and gloom in our heads or our hearts. We’re living life as we normally would – thankful and grateful and happy for each day. Life is good!

We were super excited to work on our bouquets for November. This post felt like so long ago, and we hadn’t replenished our flowers since so they’d been looking a little sad. We reused our treasured yellow poms from our October arrangements, and the rest of the foliage was picked up from Trader Joe’s for about $10. Spray roses, daisies, eucalyptus, and more.

This time, Evan actually picked out the flowers and foliage we should use for our November arrangements. I think he did a wonderful job, don’t you?

  1. Great job on the flowers Evan! You’ll continue to be two of my forever-favorite people, and always in my prayers (long after you kick cancer to the curb!) You never stop inspiring me with your love of life and each other, and your joy for Jesus!
