“The earth laughs in flowers” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Arranging flowers has always brought me so much joy. Rather than picking pre-arranged bouquets, I opt for selecting a few different flower bundles to arrange myself and gift. I even decided to make my own wedding bouquet that I truly couldn’t have been happier with.
I believe that not only is the act of giving flowers to someone a kind and simple gesture, but taking the time to select flowers that are their favorite variety or color and customizing the arrangement just for them is all the more lovely.
Using some leftover greenery and twigs from past flower arrangements, along with a trip to the ever-amazing Trader Joe’s floral shelves, I was able to make three similar yet unique arrangements for about $10.

I gravitate towards greenery, so I like it to dominate in my bouquets and use flowers as accents. I also prefer the “picked wildflower” look – imperfect, unbalanced, and simple.
Flowers are such a simple and inexpensive way to personalize your home and aesthetic. They give the appearance of taking a lot of time and effort, but it couldn’t be simpler to make your own arrangements!
Beautiful bouquets! I love how easily you made them look so earthy, and romantic. What an inexpensive touch to make your house a home. 💗
